Pains of Quicken

I severely hate Quicken! Each tax season, I use Quicken to try to total my itemized deductions and recently found that you can't import QIF files anymore. Many banks still export to QIF and apparently Intuit requires the banks to pay for the web connect file integrations or something.
So I found a way to get QIF files to import for Quicken 2008 Home and Business:
- Create a new liability account and call it "Temp"
- Import your QIF file into this account
- Cut all transactions and paste it into the correct account
Voila...
I'm considering a change in financial software but there are many choices...MS Money (argh)...hope not. Anyone else have any recommendations?
